Poor her was krankie the whole nyte.
She refused to be touched, turned and changed.
"
Don't touch me! I said, DON'T touch me!"
She was in so much pain - even her usual dose of morphine dint work.
On top of dat, her paracetamol dint ease the pain either!
It took an xtra dose to ease her pain.
She finally slept at 0630hrs.
She stayed awake cringing in pain the whoollleee nyte.
Seriously, there's no other pain in the world worst den the pain of a terminal illness.
She, on the other hand, is very lucky to have such good support from her daughters and grand-daughters.
Even the Sisters from her Nursing Home are willing to welcome her back despite her infection!
I wonder, will i be surrounded by such caring, supportive people when i'm old and frail and rrly sick?
Sumtymes, nursing such ill patients brings out the best of u.
On days lyke diz, i thank God for showing me the lyte to nursing.
=)
